Episode by episode, contestants are being ruthlessly cut from the Australian Idol 2024 competition in order to determine the winner.

These talented singers have been critiqued by the judges Marcia Hines, Amy Shark and Kyle Sandilands with hosts Ricki-Lee and Scott Tweedie.

Slowly Contestants have been cut down from top 30, top 10, top 6 and ruthlessly eliminated to a mere three contestants by mid-March.

While the judges are on the hunt for the next Australian Idol, who do fans believe will win season nine? Numerous viewers have taken to the popular betting website, Sportsbet to share their predictions.

Currently sitting in first is Amy Reeves from Broome, WA, who is known for her powerhouse vocals that blew all three judges away. The odds of Amy winning the competition are 1.67.

Following behind in second place is Dylan Wright from Bangalow, NSW with odds of 3.50. With country singer Denvah Baker-Moller from Rockhampton, QLD with odds of 4.00.

As the competition slimmed down, Dylan and Denvah continue to jump between second and third place regarding most likely to win the Australian Idol contest.

But considering that the finale has not yet been filmed, this is could be anyone’s game!
