In the first shot, Louis is surrounded by both sides of his family, the Middletons and the Royals, as he rests contently in his mother’s arms.

In the second snap, Louis poses with uncle and aunt the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, grandparents Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, as well as the Cambridges.

In a special moment, Prince William and Duchess Catherine pose for their first photo as a family-of-five.

And in the fourth and most touching image, proud mother Duchess Catherine cradles her son in the gardens of Clarence House – their unbreakable bond on full display as the 36-year-old looks down at her son with pure glee and elation.

Hours after the first four photos were posted, the palace delighted fans by releasing a glorious bonus photo of Prince Louis and Duchess Catherine taken by Matt Porteous at Clarence House to thank fans for their support.

And while he may have slept through the ceremony, little Louis was bright-eyed and beaming behind-the-scenes with mum.

Welcome to the family, Prince Louis. The Middletons and the Royals gather around the new prince.

Cheeky George steals the show as he sits on Prince William’s lap, while Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex stand proudly behind the 11-week-old.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released an additional photograph taken following the christening of Prince Louis. The Duke and Duchess hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do,” the statement said.

In the extra photo of the alert and awake baby, fans have been quick to comment how much Louis looks like his own little person.

“He looks just like himself in this pic, I thought he was Charlotte’s mini-me but definitely not in this photo,” one user noted.

Prince Louis’ christening photos also show the beautiful bond the newborn has formed with his older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who couldn’t look more chuffed with their new baby brother.

The talented snapper behind the lens, Matt Holyoak said of the four special photographs: “I was truly honoured at being asked to take the official photographs at the christening of Prince Louis, and to witness at first hand such a happy event.”

“Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure. I only hope I have captured some of that joy in my photographs.”

On Monday, July 9th Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge was baptised into the Church of England with his immediate family and godparents surrounding him.

Among the notable royal attendees were Louis’ proud grandfather Prince Charles, his wife Duchess Camilla, uncle and aunt Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and his brother and sister George and Charlotte.

Kate’s family were also in attendance with Carole Middleton, Michael Middleton, James Middleton and a pregnant Pippa Middleton stepping out for the event.

Sadly, Prince Louis’ great-grandparents Queen Elizabeth, 92, and Prince Philip, 96, did not attend.

However it’s believed the decision was made not because of health reasons but due to The Queen’s hectic upcoming schedule.

All eyes were on the sleeping chubby-cheeked baby, who was carried into the baptism by his doting mother who looked stunning in a cream dress by her favourite designer, Alexander McQueen, and a dramatic fascinator by Jane Taylor.

The sleeping Prince looked peaceful and unaware of all the fuss carrying on around him as his beaming mother carried him into the service.

Kate was overhead calling her third child “very relaxed and peaceful,” before confessing: “I hope he stays like this!”

So serene: The 11-week-old sleeps in his mother’s arms on the day of his christening.

Following the royal wedding, this marks Catherine’s second official royal outing since welcoming her son in April.

After fevered speculation, Kensington Palace announced the full line-up of Prince Louis’ six godparents made up of Mr. Nicholas van Cutsem, Mr. Guy Pelly, Mr. Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, The Lady Laura Meade, Mrs. Robert Carter and Miss Lucy Middleton.

The day after the christening, fans were delighted to get another glimpse of Louis, Charlotte and George, who watched the RAF fly-past from the window of Buckingham Palace.

The Cambridge trio were supervised by Nanny Maria and Kate’s private secretary Catherine Quinn.

Since his April 23rd arrival, the fifth in line to the British throne has been bonding with his family at their 1A Kensington Palace apartment.

Prince William and Duchess Catherine introduced the world to their third child on the steps of St Mary’s hospital shortly after his arrival.

And these breathtaking new images prove the perfect prince has completed the Cambridge clan.
