The last few years have been turbulent for former child star Amanda Bynes, but a recent appearance may prove that the actress has finally found the way back on to the straight and narrow.
Spotted at West Hollywood hotspot Craig’s restaurant on Monday evening for the first time since August, Amanda was glowing as she smiled and waved politely to the waiting photographers.
The former Nickelodeon star, who was once the youngest person ever to have their own TV show at just 13 years old, sported long blonde tresses and a classy zip up a dress – a very different look than what we’ve seen since 2013.
Two years ago, the now 29-year-old began exhibiting reckless and bizarre behaviour that lead to an arrest in 2014 for allegedly throwing a bong out of a New York apartment building window.
She has also been arrested for a DUI and has had stints in rehab.
Last year the Easy A star was involuntarily admitted to Pasadena treatment centre, and a week after her release she tweeted that she had been diagnosed as bi-polar and manic depressive.
“I’m on medication and I’m seeing my psychologist and psychiatrist weekly so I’m fine,” she explained on social media.
Fast-forward to the end of 2015 and finally it seems the troubled star, who told a reported in 2007 that “the club scene and drinking isn’t for me,” has finally gotten her life back on track.

Prior to her 2013 meltdown the actress stared in a slew of successful movies and even explained in 2007 to HLN, “the club scene and drinking isn’t for me.”
During the height of her troubled phase, Amanda attended court multiple times for drug possession, DUI and even involuntarily entered a rehab facility – and she became known for THOSE wigs.
