Nikita Lee

Nikita started out her career at a Queensland music mag in 2006, before doing the regional newspaper rounds covering everything from community fundraisers and human interest features to court cases and car crashes. But her insatiable interest for all things pop culture took over and she jumped ship to the mag world in Sydney, thanks to the first place she scored work: men’s mag FHM.

Luckily that was short-lived and it was onto red carpets and celeb chats at OK!, then across the pond to London OK!, before an assistant editor gig at Star (with a lovely travel ed role on the side). Since moving back to Australia in 2015, Nikita has worked steadily as a writer and contributing editor across Woman’s Day, New Idea and WHO, on showbiz, royal, real-life and lifestyle stories.
