Sweden’s Royal Palace released two new official royal photos of Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.

The images, which were shared on Tuesday, mark Nationaldagen, the country’s annual national day.

The photos were captured on the stunning grounds of Haga Palace, where the tots live with their mum and dad.

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel’s charming five-year-old daughter was snapped wearing her home’s iconic colours of blue, yellow and white in a Swedish national dress.

Many avid fans will note that little Estelle is missing one part of the costume, the iconic hat called Sverigedräkten.

Royal commentators have explained the little Princess is too young to wear the headscarf, which is only worn once a Swedish Princess has married.

There was a cute off in the palace, with Estelle’s little brother Oscar crawling behind her.

The young Prince, who turned one in March, looked so adorable in a pinstripe white and blue baby romper.

Today, the entire royal family attended traditional celebrations at Stockholm’s Djurgården Island.

During her royal tour of Japan, Crown Princess Victoria recently spoke about her daughter eventually stepping into her shoes as the future Queen of Sweden.

“Estelle knows that I’m here … we’ve discussed fishing, Japan, nature and ecology and how it all fits together,” she mused.

“[Estelle] was very interested and receptive,” she added. “I think we have an obligation as parents and adults to stimulate curiosity.”
