The Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry join twitter!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are the latest royals to join twitter!

The first tweet on behalf of the royal trio was posted under the new account @KensigtonRoyal which began posting on January 15.

The very first tweet read: “Hello from Kensington Palace! Welcome to our new Twitter account. This account represents The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.”

The account already has 64.3K followers. The account offers information on events that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry plan to attend and pictures of events they have attended.

The trio have also joined Instagram under the same account name @kensingtonroyal and have already posted images of Prince Harry at the Coach Core graduation ceremony in London.

Prince William and Prince Harry arent the first royals to have a twitter account. Their granny the Queen, is already an avid Twitter user.

She posted her first tweet in October 2014, signing it Elizabeth R.

“It is a pleasure to open the Information Age exhibition today at the @ScienceMuseum and I hope people will enjoy visiting. Elizabeth R,” it read.

The Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are already signed up to Twitter as well with updates posted from @ClarenceHouse.
