The pilot prince has flown to the rescue of a shooting victim.

The pilot prince has flown to the rescue of a shooting victim as part of his work with East Anglican Air Ambulance.

The Express is reporting the Duke of Cambridge was part of a team who transported medics to a wounded victim who was attacked by a gunman.

One onlooker told media William waved at local families while he waited with the aircraft.

“It was definitely William. All the kids waved at him. It’s heroic stuff he’s doing,” one onlooker told The Sun.

Both East Anglican Air Ambulance and Suffolk Police have refused to confirm William’s involvement in the rescue mission.

The Prince began his new job as an air ambulance pilot with East Anglican Air Ambulance in July.
