Prince William parties with rock royalty

Prince William stunned guests at a charity event as he jumped up on stage with Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift and showed off his hidden karaoke talents.

It's a common occurance for a house party to end with revellers gathered around a microphone belting out "livin' on a prayer", but when the party is at Kensington Palace the celebrations are turned up a notch.

Prince William rubbed shoulders with rock royalty hosting stars like rock legend Bon Jovi and singing sweetheart Taylor Swift along with some 600 guests.

The highlight of the night, which was held to raise funds for homeless charity Centrepoint, was when the trio jumped up on stage for an impromptu rendition of Bon Jovi's greatest hit.

William looked bashful alongside the rock legend and Taylor Swift, who took home the American Music Award's top gong earlier in the week.

But the Prince got into the karaoke favourite, high-fiving his fellow performers as they brought home the final chorus for the amused crowd.
