Rosy cheeked and snug as bugs, there’s no doubt the Cambridges had a ball on their first holiday as a family of four.
Minutes ago, Kensington Palace released the most adorable pictures yet of Prince George and his baby sister Princess Charlotte.
The young ones have just enjoyed their first ski trip, visiting the French Alps with their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The gorgeous images were taken by Press Association photographer John Stillwell, and captured a young family having the time of their lives.
They are among the most informal photos ever seen of Catherine, 34, and William, 33, who are pictured playfully throwing snow at each other before breaking with the stiff royal tradition of no public displays of affection and drawing each other in for a touching embrace.
Another snap that is sure to be a favourite among avid royal photo collectors is a portrait of proud Prince William with his blue-eyed, 10-month-old daughter, who he has described as “a joy of heaven”.
Confirming that the family had spent a long weekend skiiing together, a palace spokesperson says, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share new photographs of their family.The images show Their Royal Highnesses enjoying a short skiiing holiday with their children in the French Alps.”
