In a surprise moment that we cannot stop reliving, Kate Middleton has stepped out for the very first time at Beating Retreat on Horse Guards Parade in London, and suffice to say her very special debut was nothing less than breath-taking.

Indeed, despite it being the British summer, we were treated to another dreamy coat spectacle as the Duchess donned her heavenly cream Catherine Walker Coat – a stunning choice for the traditional royal event.

It was a special appearance for Kate, who has never attended the event in her eight years as an official royal.

Styling her hair in a chic up-do along with wearing a beautiful golden Irish Guards Shamrock brooch, Kate’s wintry look has given us all the inspiration we need to get through the next few chilly months Down Under!

The event is traditionally held in the lead up to Trooping the Colour, which is the Queen’s official birthday celebration and will be held over the long weekend in June.

In the past, a senior member of the royal family has made the appearance, including Princes William, Harry and Philip. So this year, the honour for Kate was certainly an exciting one.

The Beating Retreat showcases a series of performances by the British Army, with more than 700 soldiers taking part in the festivities this year.

Kate looked animated and at ease at the event as she watched the music, horsemanship and fireworks unfold.

This wasn’t the only time Kate has made a dazzling appearance this week.

On Monday evening, the royal stepped out in an amazing Alexander McQueen gown as she attended the state banquet held for Donald Trump’s visit to the UK.

Wearing her favourite Lovers Knot tiara perched perfectly atop her up-do, Kate looked radiant as she made her grand entrance.

And in only a days time, we’ll be seeing Kate again as the royal family are expected to step out for the annual Trooping the Colour parade.

Not only that, but we’re also likely to see Duchess Meghan for the first time since her photo debut with her new baby Archie.

And that’s not to mention seeing Archie’s three adorable cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

It’s going to be a good weekend!

Meghan is touted to be making her second official post-birth appearance at Saturday’s Trooping the Colour.
