Kate and Wills heading to India

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced their travel plans for their official visit to India and Bhutan, in what will be the first time there for either of them.

The Royal couple will pay their respect to the historical relationship that has transpired between Britain and India, but focus mainly on India as it is today – a vibrant and entrepreneurial nation.

The tour will happen in the week of the Queen’s 90th birthday, between 10-16th April, and the Prince and Princess are said to be honoured to be carrying out this trip on the Queen’s behalf.

The trip will see Kate and William experiencing a colourful and diverse tour of these two stunning countries, with five locations in four regions of India covered and a trip to a remote and mountainous Himalayan kingdom.

They will meet cultural figures, business leaders, young entrepreneurs and of course, they will spend time with the locals in both cities and regional areas.

It won’t be all business, however, as the young couple will sneak in a little Bollywood fun and a soiree at the residence of the British High Commissioner held in honour of the Queen’s 90th birthday.
