The animals at this shelter are looked after by a very unusual nurse – a black cat called Rademenesa.
Rademenesa nearly lost his life when he was a kitten but returned to full health and now helps other animals who find their way to the hospital wing of the Norwegian animal shelter he calls home.
Images of the feline tending to his patients have been shared on Imgur, where they have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
