When Perth man Jarred Wall was lunching with a pal at a Fremantle café he couldn’t help but overhear the offensive conversation two women were having about indigenous Australians.
Jarred, who is Aboriginal himself, took to Facebook to describe the incident as “distasteful”, but instead of losing his cool he came up with the perfect way to handle these two bigots; he bought them a cup of tea.
He also left a note which read:
“Enjoy the tea! Complements of the two aboriginals sitting next to you on table 26”.

In his post about the incident Wall said, “Maybe these ladies will be a little wiser and think before they speak”.
Adding: “Hopefully there won’t be a next time!”
Jarred’s mum, Trish Hall praised her son’s move with a comment that read:
“I’m so proud my son that you rose above the hurtful rants of others. Kindness goes a long way, and you all walked away after with your heads held high.”
And it’s not just his mum. With over two thousand shares and 22 thousand reactions, the general consensus of the internet is that Jarred is one classy bloke!
