Tensions in The Royal Family have been on the rise. Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s revealing Netflix docu-series, Harry and Meghan, Prince Harry is set to release his autobiography, Spare on January 10. It is after an early leak in Spain, however, that his explosive musings have started to come to light.
Speaking on life in the Royal Family, tensions with William and Catherine, racism, and his family’s attitude towards Meghan, here is what we know about the memoir so far.

From what has been revealed so far, Prince Harry has not shied away from speaking on his tense brotherly relationship.
Describing William as his “arch-nemesis”, the 38-year-old detailed how the two came to fall apart.
Prince William told Harry not to propose to Meghan
Harry revealed that William strongly discouraged any relationship with Meghan Markle. Detailing a specific incident, Harry says he was physically attacked by William when discussing their marriage.
As written by Harry, William allegedly described Meghan as “difficult”, “rude”, and “abrasive” to which Harry quotes, “He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me.”

In a candid moment, Harry shared he was first offered cocaine at the age of 17. Admitting he took the drug several times after, he, ultimately, said he did not enjoy it.
“It wasn’t much fun and it did not make me feel especially happy as it seemed to do to everyone else, but it did make me feel different, and that was my main objective.
“I was a 17-year-old boy ready to try anything that altered the pre-established order.”
Harry accused Camilla of leaking stories to the press
In one of his more sensational claims, Harry accused the, now, Queen Consort of leaking stories about him to the press.
When speaking about his stepmother, the father of two said Camilla had been campaigning for Queen since 2005 and shared fears she would become his “wicked stepmother”.

The Duke revealed he thought Diana was in hiding for several years following her death. He admits he spent years trying to find out what really happened, travelling back to her place of death to retrace her steps.
“With nothing to do but roam the castle and talk to myself, a suspicion took hold, which then became a firm belief. This was all a trick,” he wrote.
Prince William and Princess Catherine found Harry’s Nazi costume funny
In a moment he apologised for in the docu-series, Harry and Meghan, in ‘Spare’, Harry attributes some blame of his Nazi costume to Will and Kate.
The Duke says the pair “howled with laughter” when seeing the costume, allegedly encouraging him to wear it over his other option, a pilot uniform.

In promotion of his memoir, Harry was interviewed on Good Morning America and said that the relationship the royal family has currently with tabloids needed to change as soon as possible, if only to protect future generations growing up within the monarchy like his niece Charlotte and two nephews Louis and George.
”There are some people, especially in the UK, who have been led to believe that because you are a member of the royal family, somehow everyone owns you or has a stake in you,” Harry told host Michael Strahan.
”And that’s a message that has been purely pushed out by the British tabloids, and it creates real problems within that family and that relationship.”
Harry added: ”Of course, there has to be some sort of relationship, but where it’s got to now is incredibly unhealthy.”
The duke then said that he hoped that what he was doing now would help current and future generations of royals.
”I also worry about young kids within that family if this continues,” he said.
”Because who’s to say that someone else doesn’t fill my shoes and that their partner, where it’s a husband or a wife or boyfriend or a girlfriend, doesn’t get treated exactly the same as Meghan did?!
Harry has claimed that he hopes his current efforts will protect future generations of children born within the monarchy.

Michael explained that the Palace wanted to ”consider what is said in the interview in context in which it appears.”
The host also claimed that the Palace had asked them to ”immediately” supply them with a copy of the entire interview but that Good Morning America had snubbed the request as they ”do not do that as an organisation’ as a ”matter of policy.”
