Shoppers at Westfield Parramatta will never forget hearing the screams of a four-year-old girl who got stuck in an escalator on Tuesday.
The preschooler was visiting the shopping centre with her parents when she fell on the escalator and became stuck.
As the youngsters panic-stricken mother tried to comfort her, her father and security guards frantically tried to free her, using a screwdriver and other tools.
Thankfully the young girl was eventually freed and has been given the all clear.
However, it is likely that the incident will leave some emotional scars for all the family.
