When you think of royal fashion icons, one’s mind would tend to wander straight to Duchess Catherine or Meghan Markle.

But when you cast the net a little further, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find a plethora of other ridiculously chic royals who are right on par with Kate and Meghan – and Zara Tindall is well and truly one of them.

On Monday, the world watched Meghan and Kate attend the annual Commonwealth Day Service together.

With Meghan in a glorious green Emilia Wickstead dress and Kate in a beautiful red Catherine Walker coat, the two royals captured the world’s attention in an instant.

But behind the scenes, Zara was pulling off her own fashion spectacle – which we very nearly missed.

Pictures of the mum-of-two surfaced shortly after the Commonwealth Day celebrations, and suffice to say Zara gave us all kinds of fashion inspiration.

Attending the Cheltenham Festival on March 10, the royal looked stunning in a navy blue ensemble consisting a chic navy coat by Guinea London, a polka dot neck scarf and a Kate-Middleton-esque headband.

But the pièce de résistance? Her Illestiva tortoiseshell sunglasses, which she was spotted wearing as she watched a race unfold.

Zara was pictured speaking to a number of guests throughout the daytime event, including her mother, Princess Anne.

The ever-chic princess was also looking stylish in a coral coat and black winter hat.

Guess we know where Zara got her prowess for all things fashion from!

It’s no secret that Zara is a big fan of attending the races.

An equestrian herself, the royal has been heavily involved with horse racing events throughout her entire life.

As the UK gears up for a summer season ahead, there are plenty more track side events to come for the royal.

We can’t wait to see what kind of outfits are in store!
