Married At First Sight’s Andrew deletes his Instagram account

The backlash has been too much.

Married At First Sight Australia’s Andrew Jones has deleted his Instagram account this morning following last night’s controversial episode.

The dinner party didn’t paint the reality TV contestant in a particularly good light. And now it seems the social media backlash has forced the 38-year-old firefighter from Perth to close down his Instagram profile.

Andrew’s disappearing act comes just days after he took to Instagram to inform his followers he was auctioning off his wedding ring from his marriage to his first partner Lauren on the show for charity.

“Friends, I’m auctioning THAT ring!!” he wrote in his last social media post. “All funds raised from the sale of my wedding ring will go to MND research,” he added.

Meanwhile, in a complete contrast, Andrew’s partner Cheryl, 25, has been using social media to thank her loyal fans.

“I appreciate everyone’s positive messages,” she captioned a selfie on Instagram after last night’s explosive episode.
