After a successful 2023 season, The Voice Australia is set for a major shake-up this year.

Three of last year’s coaches will be departing the show, with only one returning to their red chair: Guy Sebastian. After days of speculation, Channel Seven have now revealed he will be joined by Adam Lambert, LeAnn Rimes and Kate Miller-Heidke.

LeAnn Rimes is set to join The Voice in 2024.

“I think I have a lot of wisdom to pass on,” LeAnn told Sunrise hosts Nat Barr and Matt Shirvington on the morning of the announcement. “I love being able to help the next generation and discover new talent. It’s all about nurturing. I’m excited to feature new talent and help them be the best version of themselves.”

When it comes to her advice for the contestants, LeAnn shared that it was all about keeping true to themselves in the face of advice from the coaches, and pressure of the competition.
“I would tell [the contestants] to keep their inner voice,” she revealed. “It’s important for them to have a sense of self and know who they are. It’s important for us to give feedback but ultimately it’s about them – they have to have a strong sense and self, and to keep that.”

Adam Lambert is joining The Voice in 2024.

In a statement, Adam added that he was in it to win it. Adam Lambert, who was a runner-up on American Idol in 2009, and has since joined the band Queen on tour.

“I am thrilled to be joining the panel of The Voice this season,” he revealed. “I have such great memories in Australia and can’t wait to spend some time down under! Australia has contributed some iconic talents and artists to pop culture, it’ll be fun to coach the next generation of talent. You can expect some killer song selections, fashion fashion fashion, and of course, a win for Team Adam!”

Australian singer Kate Miller- Heidke is also joining as a coach in 2024.

Kate Miller-Heidke is a classically-trained Australian pop singer who also represented Australia at the 2019 Eurovision contest.

“I am so excited to be joining The Voice, and to sit on the panel alongside these incredible singers,” she revealed. “The art and craft of singing has been at the centre of my life and I feel like I have learned some things that might be of help to young or inexperienced performers.

“I’ll be looking for people with the soul of an artist; people with something to say; who make you lean in and want to know more about them. And I’m really looking forward to getting to know the other coaches. Bring it on!”

Guy Sebastian is the only coach returning this season.

And of course, fans know Guy , who will be returning for his fifth season as a coach on The Voice, having first appeared on the show in 2019.

“It’s so good to be back on The Voice!” he says. “It is always very special to be a part of a show that continues to not only uncover fresh Aussie talent but also shine a bright, well-deserved light on so many talented singers.
