After a successful 2023 season, The Voice Australia is set for a major shake-up this year.

Three of last year’s coaches will be departing the show, with only one returning to their red chair: Guy Sebastian. After days of speculation, Channel Seven have now revealed he will be joined by Adam Lambert, LeAnn Rimes and Kate Miller-Heidke.

LeAnn Rimes is set to join The Voice in 2024.

“I think I have a lot of wisdom to pass on,” LeAnn told Sunrise hosts Nat Barr and Matt Shirvington on the morning of the announcement. “I love being able to help the next generation and discover new talent. It’s all about nurturing. I’m excited to feature new talent and help them be the best version of themselves.”

When it comes to her advice for the contestants, LeAnn shared that it was all about keeping true to themselves in the face of advice from the coaches, and pressure of the competition.

“I would tell [the contestants] to keep their inner voice,” she revealed. “It’s important for them to have a sense of self and know who they are. It’s important for us to give feedback but ultimately it’s about them – they have to have a strong sense and self, and to keep that.”
