Dylan and Jenny are reportedly hoping for a Christmas miracle as they await news of their house selling, more than one month on from the disastrous The Block: Tree Change auction.

The history-making event saw three houses sell to IT entrepreneur Danny Wallis on the day, while rumoured dummy bidder Adrian Portelli scooped up Sharon and Ankur’s property in the fortnight after filming wrapped.

This then left Dylan and Jenny in the dust, awaiting the sale of a house they spent months tirelessly renovating, and a profit they (and fans) feel is well deserved.

As of December, the house is still listed on Domain and is relying on a ‘real life bidder’ to save it from the property market.

Fans have taken to social media to share their condolences for the dynamic duo, dubbed ”the most positive couple on The Block,” during this frustrating time.

”They unfortunately won’t sell for the guide and no real estate agent is going to keep the house on the market indefinitely. Mind you all four sales were not ”real” house sales.

Danny bought three as he has unlimited money and gets a tax break from the charity houses. Adrian is raffling the house he bought, both bought the houses for publicity.”

Other fans were quick to share in these sentiments: ”Adrian and Danny just aren’t interested in house four [Dylan and Jenny’s] and there’s no other multi-millionaires interested in overpaying for a house.”

Dylan and Jenny were left reeling after their auction result (or lack thereof).

While no figure is listed on Domain, the property has previously been reported to have an asking price of between $4.08 and $4.4m, despite only being estimated to be worth $1.63m.

According to The Block co host Shelley Craft, this asking price is ”a bargain.”

”Given the price of the land and the price of the build, the property is sitting around the six million mark so whoever purchases this property will be getting a bargain,” Shelley said.

”I hope it sells soon, I really do, but I also know that Dylan and Jenny are okay and they did achieve so much even without the windfall.

”I know that they have walked away with a great experience, they are a wonderful young couple and they are going to go from strength to strength anyway.

”They just held themselves beautifully throughout the entire process.”

According to Shelley, house four was the property that ”everyone wanted”.

”All the contestants and judges just thought it was the most beautiful home and the plans for the extensions were the best laid out.

”It’s a magnificent property and they have done an extraordinary job.

”In terms of workmanship, house four is up there with the top houses that have ever been built on The Block. I don’t know why it hasn’t sold.”

Dylan and Jenny have declined to make further comments to Now to Love until their The Block property is sold.
