Kris and Bruce are worth $125m, but there’s no prenup

Kris and Bruce Jenner are worth $125 million but don't have a prenup

The pair were spotted at a meeting together in LA yesterday.

Kris and Bruce Jenner say they are “much happier” living apart, but there’s one small problem: the pair, who is worth $125 million, never signed a prenuptial agreement.

While Kris ensured all of her daughters’ financial futures were secure with strict prenups, she and Bruce had never set one up for themselves.

The estranged couple announced their split yesterday after 22 years of marriage and months of separation speculation.

The pair, who has been living apart for months, was spotted arriving separately for a meeting together yesterday in Los Angeles following the announcement.

Both seemed to be in good spirits, but while 57-year-old Kris wasn’t wearing her wedding ring, Bruce continued to wear his.

“Kris is happy, I’m happy. Nobody is filing for divorce. Kris has her own place and I have my own place. There’s no animosity. Everything is good,” the 63-year-old former Olympian told People.

He’d also announced the pair wasn’t planning on dating or starting any new relationships.

“No! We’re not going there. I have my family, I have my kids. All my time is filled.”

While the duo isn’t heading for a divorce just yet, there will come a time when their $125m fortune will need to be divided, and Bruce is legally entitled to half of the Kardashian empire that Kris has built up over the years.

“This is going to be a very bitter pill for Kris to swallow, because when the divorce is finalised, she’ll have to split half the family fortune with Bruce,’” a source told Radar online.

“Kris demanded that her daughters Kim and Khloe get prenups, but in a touch of irony, she didn’t get one when she married Bruce.”

Kris has a huge fortune flowing in and receives 10 per cent for her daughters’ massive deals, including their Kardashian Kollection for Sears, an OPI nail polish endorsement agreement, and QuickTrim ads.

She also recently secured a deal for more than $40 million for three more seasons of the family reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians – a deal that was made without Bruce’s knowledge.

“I don’t follow any of that stuff. The girls are into the money thing. Honestly, a couple days ago I was watching the news and then this ticker comes across the screen saying, ‘Kardashians sign a new deal’ and I was like, ‘We did? That’s kind of nice’,” Bruce said at the time.

The pair also owns a mansion in Hidden Hills worth several millions and a collection of luxury cars.

While Bruce made over $100 million back in the 80s through numerous endorsement deals, it was never expected that the Kardashian brand would outdo his earnings.

“As the Kardashian brand and fortune grew, Bruce joked to Kris that she should have gotten a prenup so he couldn’t take anything from her,” the source said.

“To say Kris is obsessed with money is an understatement. He’ll probably ask that she just buy him out… which Kris won’t want to do because it means spending her own money.

“If they end up divorcing, one thing is certain – Kris is not going to part with a penny more than she has to.”
