Home and Away actress Sam Frost was over the moon when she welcomed her first child, a beautiful baby boy on March 7, 2023 with her fiance and Survivor contestant Jordie Hansen.
Named Theodore Paul Frost-Hansen, or Ted for short, was the light of their eyes for many years.
“There’s no words to describe how much we love you,” Sam captioned the black and white Instagram post, announcing his arrival.
From the outside, the pregnancy appeared to be smooth sailing. But in an interview on Two Doting Dads podcast in July 2025, the former Bachelorette star revealed the terrifying moment her son stopped moving during her pregnancy.
“Towards the due date he just completely stopped moving. I went to a midwife appointment and told her he is not moving and he is usually very active,” she explained. “They did their scans and tests. They said they were happy and his heartbeat is strong.”
However, Sam couldn’t shake this wrong feeling, laying “awake all night with my hand on my stomach and he was not moving.”
“I went in the next day and told them ‘you have to check this, l’m telling you something is wrong with my baby’,” she said. “He ended up having an irregular heartbeat and they think he wasn’t getting nutrients from the placenta anymore so I was induced and he came out five hours later. I feel really lucky I trusted myself.”
In March 2025, the family of three expanded! Bobby Jordan Frost-Hansen arrived on March 29, 2025.
“We love you so much little man,” Sam captioned the black and white photo, very reminiscent of her first baby announcement.

“We travelled Australia for 2 months filming a telly show coming early next year 🎞️ I loved every moment with my beautiful family in our home away from home xx,” Sam shared via Instagram, teasing their exciting new project with her family.

”For a long time, I’ve always felt like I had a huge hole in my heart…but now I think maybe my heart was just waiting for you x,” Sam shared to her Instagram.
Doting dad Jordie was chuffed to become a dad, sharing this sweet snap of his newborn son Ted to his followers on Instagram:
”Ted, this is you and me having a cuddle giving mumma a break. You and I are very lucky to have her in our lives. She is the strongest person I know. Not only through the birthing process but the last 9 months. And the hard work continues still.
You and I will never be able to fully understand how hard it is to do what she’s done but she was amazing and at times she was my strength too.
You would be so proud of her. And I’m proud of you both. Get ready for some adventures my boy ❤️”

In September 2022, Sam and Jordie took to their Instagrams to share their happy news.
”There is a tiny human coming soon… everyone act surprised when he inevitably inherits his parents odd sense of humour.
We don’t take ourselves or life too seriously, and we’re hoping to teach our tiny one the same values we share… the importance of being unapologetically yourself, always finding the fun and humour in all the small things, and that being kind, loving and empathetic is a superpower ✨
