Queen Elizabeth orders Prince Harry to shave his beard

The Queen has reportedly instructed Prince Hairy to shave off his new ginger beard.

Sources close to the palace allege Her Majesty is none too pleased with the young Prince’s scruffy look and thinks his unruly facial hair is unbecoming of a royal.

Harry, 29, grew the beard last month while on a charity walk in the South Pole for the Walking with the Wounded organisation.

The Queen was reportedly happy for Harry to sport the beard while he was on the trek, but wants it gone now that he has returned to the UK because it doesn’t sit well with the palace’s clean cut image.

Though it is not explicitly expressed in their contracts, palace staff aren’t allowed to sport unkempt facial hair but the Queen is said to be worried this rule will be harder to enforce when her own grandson has such a wild beard.

While the internet is abuzz with Harry’s scruff, with some dubbing him “His Royal Hotness”, like any grandson, Harry doesn’t like to upset his elderly grandmother. Apparently the young royal is willing to shave his face, but only after his current skiing holiday with girlfriend Cressida Bonas is complete.
