Meghan Markle’s ex-boyfriend Cory Vitiello is reportedly expecting his first baby with Dragonette singer Martina Sorbara, according to Us Weekly.

Meghan dated Cory — who’s a celebrity chef, by the by — after her split from her first-husband Trevor Engelson in 2013. They dated for two years before choosing to go their separate ways, and unlike her bitter split from Trevor (who is currently developing a sitcom based on their relationship), Meghan’s breakup with Cory appears to have ended amicably.

“I’m pleased for Meghan. She’s a great girl,” Cory told the Daily Mail about his ex in April, a month before she walked down the aisle. “There is no bitterness. I respect people’s private and personal lives, and although she has put herself in the public spectrum, I still hold to that.”

There is speculation, however, that the two were actually still together when Meghan hit it off with Prince Harry in July, 2016. At the time, a close friend of the exes addressed the persistent rumours, simply saying: “I can’t comment on that.”

Cory and Meghan lived together in Toronto and were said to be together when Meghan first met Harry.

Trevor, meanwhile, is now preparing to marry his girlfriend, Tracey Kurland, after proposing last Friday. He shared the exciting news on his private Instagram account.

“Luckiest guy I know! Get ready to party!” the 41-year-old wrote in the caption on Instagram, according to the Daily Mail. The sweet message was posted alongside a smiling snap of the pair, with Tracey flashing her engagement ring.

Meghan and Trevor tied the knot in 2011 but called it quits just two years later.

Trevor, who works in Hollywood as a film producer, was with Meghan for the better part of nine years. The couple first started dating in 2004 before tying the knot in 2011, but were only married for two years before ending their union.

Meghan cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce.

Sources reveal that Meghan may have put her acting career before her marriage, and it was her role on Suits that seemed to be the cause of the couple’s split.

According to The Sun, Meghan had accepted her role in the TV series before they got married, and the gig would require her to relocated from LA to Toronto to film.

“They really battled with long distances,” the insider claimed. “Trevor was based in LA while Meghan was in Toronto, a five-hour flight away. It was a very difficult way to start married life.”
