There’s less than a month to go until Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry hit Australian shores for the Invictus Games, and it looks like the royal couple are just as excited about the sporting event as we are.

The pair quite literally had a ball of a time attending an awards ceremony for Coach Core at Loughborough University on Monday, laughing and playing around with participants of the program.

The royal couple were all smiles for the event.

Meghan had her eyes on the prize.

Coach Core helps unemployed and marginalised young people become sporting coaches, and is funded by the young royals’ Royal Foundation. Participants have lessons from sporting stars who mentor and train them.

The support from Harry and Meghan comes as the two prepare to attend the Invictus Games in Sydney next month. The Games were founded by Prince Harry himself for injured or sick armed service personnel and veterans.

Participants will take part in sports including wheelchair basketball, indoor rowing and sitting volleyball.

The pair will visit Australia next month for the 2018 Invictus Games.

Concentration was key for the Prince.

The newlyweds shared some sweet moments during the event on Monday, being pictured with their arms around each other and laughing.

Meghan looked stunning as usual in a Oscar de la Renta navy top and Altuzarra trousers.

The Duchess remained poised despite getting into the thick of the action.

Harry looks just as excited as we are for his visit to Australia next month!

The event was also attended by sporting celebrities including Paula Radcliffe, netballer Eboni Beckford-Chambers and British tennis player Laura Robson.

The awards recognised the young people who had taken part in the program.

The couple mingled with guests throughout the event.

Harry and Meghan are set to arrive in Australia on October 17, visiting Dubbo first, followed by Melbourne the next day. The couple will then head to Sydney for the Invictus Games, followed by Fraser Island on October 22.

This will mark Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first official royal tour as husband and wife and is set to garner global interest.

At last year’s Invictus Games, the couple, who had only recently gone public, caused hearts to flutter when they were seen sharing a PDA at the closing ceremony.

Harry gave Meghan a quick kiss on the cheek during the 2017 Invictus Games closing ceremony.

We’ve got our fingers crossed for some more adorable couple-moments in October!
