Throwback photos of celebrities always manage to bring us a little bit of joy. So naturally, fans went wild on Thursday when Gogglebox star Yvie jones took us on a trip down memory lane.

The TV personality took to Instagram to spread the 80s nostalgia by sharing a photo of her when she was just 14 years old.

“At the time I thought I looked so cool. Then for decades I cringed at this pic. Now I just love it. I am beautiful now and was beautiful then. We all were/are,” she wrote alongside the throwback pic.

Yvie was 14 in this photo taken in 1987.

“That’s my dear departed Pop behind me. Herbert. Sweetest, most quiet man who played the ukele and sang for us.”

In the photo from her teen years, Yvie rocked a pixie-cut hairdo and wore a pastel swirl-pattern jumpsuit.

Yvie’s fellow celebrities shared their glee at the photo, with singer Tina Arena writing: “Always beautiful ❤️”

Former Married At First Sight star Clare Verrall commented: “Baby Yvie!! Look at you! Perfection. OMG if only that version of you knew what you were to become! ❤️”

Back in 2015, Yvie and best friend Angie Kent rose to fame when they appeared on Gogglebox‘s first season.

Yvie shot to fame back in 2015 when she appeared on Gogglebox‘s first season alongside her best friend Angie Kent.

Their hilarious banter made them fan favourites, launching their own careers in the entertainment industry, braving the jungle for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and starting their own podcast, Two Girls, One Pod.

Angie also went on to star as The Bachelorette Australia in 2019 and appear on Dancing With The Stars in 2020 and Dancing With The Stars: All Stars this year, even writing a book about her time on TV.

Meanwhile, Yvie tried her hand at radio, filling in for Fifi Box on Fox FM’s breakfast show and joining Grant Denyer to host the Hit Network’s summer breakfast show in 2019.

“We thought we’d do one season of Gogglebox and it would be something we’ll always have to look back on. We never thought it would do as well as it did, winning Logies and catapulting our careers,” Yvie told TV WEEK last year.

“It’s been really lovely being able to do this together too.”
