Girls just want to have fun! And Nicole Kidman looked carefree as she danced backstage at Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in Newcastle.

The video of Nicole dancing along to Elton John’s hit Cold Heart in collaboration with popstar Dua Lipa was shared to her Instagram account.

“Epic,” she wrote.

“We [love] you @eltonjohn #FarewellTour”.

Nicole and Keith’s return to Australia has been long awaited but fans were thrilled to hear the couple returning to their roots for Christmas.

However, their reasoning for the return was not solely for a fun holiday, with friends of the couple have informing Woman’s Day that the distance from their mothers and Australia is becoming harder and harder.

“Especially now that both their dads have passed away. Nicole has yearned to be closer to her mum ever since her dad passed, and Janelle is very much starting to slow down,” the source revealed.

“For a long time, life was easy. They had everything they wanted – it was a dream come true for both Nicole and Keith, even though being so far from home wasn’t ideal.”

Keith also moved his mum, Marienne – who became a widow when the singer’s father passed away in 2015 after a long battle with cancer – into a lovely home in Queensland.

Despite this, the pair have been utilising their holiday time after recently visiting Cradle Mountain National Park in Tasmania where Nicole posted a collection of photos and videos to Instagram.

This included a video of a little possum, which had Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon asking, “what is that thing ??!!”
