There won’t be any double dates anytime soon for newly rekindled couple Michael Clarke and Jade Yarbrough and her sister Jasmine and brother-in-law Karl Stefanovic.
Six months after Michael and Karl’s infamous Noosa stoush, which saw the former friends embroiled in an expletive-filled fight in a public park after Jade accused Michael of cheating on her with his ex Pip Edwards, Karl, 48, and Michael, 42, still aren’t speaking.
The allegations of cheating are unsubstantiated.
The former friends are allegedly still on shaky grounds.
(Image: Getty)According to sources, the Today host has “permanently brushed” Michael and has no plans to ever mend bridges with him.
So furious is Karl that Jade, 31, has taken the former cricket ace back, he’s told Jade he doesn’t want her and Michael coming over to his home – and Jasmine’s stuck in the middle once again!
Jade is the sister of Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine.

He’s as good as said to his sister-in-law Jade – who he’s always had a real soft spot for and who he’s helped to get her interior business up and going – that if she’s with Michael, she shouldn’t come over,” a source tells Woman’s Day, adding that Karl is furious because he was the one who initially set Jade and Michael up.
A smiling Jade was recently seen leaving Michael’s $13 million Vaucluse mansion, sparking speculation that the interior designer has moved in with him.

“Jade and Jasmine’s parents and close friends are furious that she has gone back to him. Both Cheryl and Bob are real working-class folk and have been together since they were teens. All they want for their little girls is for them to be with a man who looks after them and who provides them with a good life,” the source tells.
“Jasmine and Karl hate the fact Michael is the sort of person who Jade is clearly considering having a future with. They wish she could meet a nice tradie or someone a bit more down to earth!”
Adding to the tension, our source says Jade has only ever wanted what 39-year-old Jasmine has.
“They have an age difference of around eight years but Jade always felt she lived in her big sister’s shadow. So when Jasmine married one of Australia’s biggest TV personalities, Jade decided she wanted what big sis has got.

And despite the passing months, it’s unlikely Karl will ever forgive his former mate.
“Karl was in serious trouble with the bosses at Nine after Noosa-gate and he’s made it clear to everyone that he’s not willing to risk his career again on Michael and Jade’s relationship,” the source tells Woman’s Day.
“Jasmine and Karl’s biggest worry is if Jade is silly enough to marry him – they would struggle to even attend, let alone be in the bridal party.
“Jasmine is trying everything in her power to convince her sister to leave him for good –Jasmine has even joked that Jade would be better off going on The Bachelor!“
