Julie Bishop has delighted fans with a new fashion look while attending a mining event.

Donning a pale yellow dress with long sleeves and a lace floral print, Julie opted for silver and simple makeup. Her short blonde hair completed the smart look.

Julie originally debuted the “new look” in August, a month after her breakup with her partner of eight years, David Panton.

At the time, she teamed up with department store David Jones for their first runway show in four years, wearing a $3,750 metallic jacquard midi dress and a completely fresh hairstyle.

She had swapped her shoulder-length blonde locks for a short asymmetrical bob.

Weekend Today host Belinda Russell was quick to notice Julie’s hair transformation, penning: “🔥🔥 you always look amazing but LOVING the new do! You ROCK short hair. 💇🏼‍♀️😍🙌🏻.”

Julie and her partner David reportedly split after eight years of dating.

Reports of Julie’s breakup with David hit the news cycle in July.

The Sydney property developer ended things with the former foreign minister in June after eight years of dating, as per the Sydney Morning Herald.

“I’m going to be focused on living in Manly and Melbourne for the foreseeable future,” Panton said in a statement. “I wish Julie all the best in her ongoing stellar career.”
