Darvid Garayeli has seemingly taken a swipe at his ex-girlfriend Brooke Blurton five months after their shock split.

During an Instagram Q&A on Tuesday night, the 2021 Bachelorette winner was asked whether he is still friends with Brooke – and he didn’t mince his words.

“It’s a strong no from me 💀,” he responded.

The reality TV couple announced their break up in January, after less than three months together.

Darvid’s new revelation about his non-existent friendship with Brooke comes three months after he surprisingly the pair were still in contact despite a public dispute over who pulled the plug on their relationship.

“There’s an open line of communication and we put our differences aside,” he shared in March in response to a question asking if he still talks to Brooke.

At the time of the split, Brooke was blindsided when Darvid shared the news publicly on Instagram.

“Starting the new year off with an end to a chapter and hopefully the beginning of another,” he wrote on New Year’s Day.

“Unfortunately Brooke and I have parted ways. Whilst we both genuinely thought we were each other’s person, things change and that’s okay.”

At the time she tried to keep details about their relationship ending private, but earlier this year Brooke confessed to NITV that she felt Darvid wanted to “humiliate” her by going public with their split.

Brooke told the network that she was left with “no choice” in the break up being made so public, and wished Darvid would have waited to announce it.

“I feel like it was just to humiliate me, have one over me. What else did I have to do? I was silenced, I was defenceless, I just had to cop it,” she said.

Brooke also confirmed that she was the one to end the relationship after a couple of months.

“In an ideal world I would have preferred to have a mutual agreement and/or had a say in when/how we express that to the public but instead woke to that news which obviously kinda shocked me. Which is where you saw my reaction,” she said.

“But Darvid had every right to make that decision, his platform, he can choose that for himself. I’d say it’s better to rip the band-aid off.”
