At first glance, they couldn’t be more different, yet Alene Khatcherian and Simon McQuillan are proving first impressions are often wrong after falling slowly and madly in love on Married at First Sight.
And months after filming ended, the surprises are still coming thick and fast for this besotted couple, who are more head over heels than they ever could have imagined.
Our exclusive photoshoot had only just started when the lovebirds couldn’t help but share their exciting baby plans.
“We’re going to call them Valerie and Damien,” says Alene, 31, with a cheeky twinkle in her eye as she reveals their dream to have twins.
Meanwhile, country boy Simon quips, “Don’t you mean Damo and Val?”
Alene and Simon are thrilled to be planning a family.
There’s no bun in the oven for these two just yet, but that hasn’t stopped the smitten pair dreaming of their future family.
“The ideal would be to have twins, a boy and a girl,” Alene explains as she looks lovingly at Simon.
“I’d rather struggle with one pregnancy than have two in five years, and I know Simon will be a great dad.”
