It’s a big day in Hollywood for ex Home And Away stars!

Lincoln Younes has announced his casting in CW’s The Lost Boys reboot, following on from the news earlier this morning that Rebecca Breeds will be starring in the Silence of the Lambs sequel.

The 1987 film about two brothers, Michael and Sam being sucked into the dangerous underworld of bikers, vampires and hunters, is being rebooted.

Lincoln was made famous by his Home And Away character, Casey.

CW have commissioned the now TV series with Lincoln, known best as Summer Bay heartthrob, Casey Braxton, being cast in one of the lead roles – Benjamin.

Lincoln took to Instagram to share the news with fans, he wrote: “So so excited to bring one of my favourite cult classics to life in the modern era.”

According to Variety, Benjamin is the charismatic leader of the vampire gang running rampant in a small seaside town. The dashing character is said to be closest to the role of David played by Kiefer Sutherland in the original film.

Trouble begins when two teen brothers move to town and discover the cool kids at school are actually part of the sinister vampire cult. Blood ties are tested, to say the least, as the two brothers are divided by mythological gang.

Most recently, Lincoln appeared in ABC drama Grand Hotel which was produced by Desperate Housewives’ star, Eva Longoria.
