The toned and lean yoga devotee is the global ambassador for beauty supplement brand Imedeen and in a recent advert for the product the Calvin Klein model says she has no hang-ups about ageing.

“The older I get, the more comfortable in my skin I am, it’s much more me,” an almost bare-faced Christy says in a behind-the-scenes video for the beauty advert.

Christy – who sported some gentle laugh lines and faint crows feet around her face in the candid video – recalls her modelling heyday and reveals she is now far more conscientious about her skincare regime.

“When I was younger as a model, I was working every day,” said the Maybelline cover girl. “More make-up, lights, and travel so my skin has probably suffered a bit from too much of everything.

“As I got older, I had time to start taking care of myself and my health and my skin really started to come into its own.”

The veteran supermodel has been the face of Calvin Klein for over two decades

The mother-of-two admitted that her daily beauty routine is a fuss free simple one.

“I like the philosophy that less is more. Caring for my skin from the inside out is what I’m most interested in. What I put into my body is really important.”
