A father discovered the carnage of a horrific “split second” crash between two trucks and a car which killed his three teenage children in Northern NSW.
Jack Pink, 19, was driving a Pantech truck full of furniture when he collided with a fuel tanker near Boggabilla, NSW just after 6am yesterday morning.
His sisters, Marina, 17, and Destiny, 15, were in a car directly behind Jack’s truck and were also killed when they collided with the tanker and burst into flames.

Their father, Glenn Pink, had been travelling in front of the convey and had turned back when he heard the accident on a two-way radio to discover the wreckage and collapsed at the scene.
Marina, one of seven children, was due to celebrate her 18th birthday today.
The family, a part of the travelling show circuit, were returning from a show in Dubbo to their home near Beenleigh, south of Brisbane.
“It’s devastating. They were fifth-generation show people,” Showmen’s Guild of Australasia secretary John Davis told AAP.
The driver of the fuel tanker is being treated at Goondiwindi Hospital for back pain and cuts to his face, said Superintendent Maule.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to support the family of nine after the devastating accident.

The Grand Prix is considered to be the “crown jewel” of auto-racing, so of course Prince Albert gave it his seal of approval by going for a quick drive.
And his South African wife got the exciting spot of shot gun.

“I am African,” she told Eyewitness News, “this is my home. It will always be. It’s in my heart, it’s in my veins and it always will be. I can’t wait for them to come here. I can’t wait to introduce them to Africa.”
The royal also spoke of her little ones, two-year-old twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, “Actually, they’re really a handful!”
“They’re beautiful, they’re smart. Full of energy. I really hope that in the next couple of years I’ll be able to bring them to South Africa, that would be an amazing moment for me.”

Even though it was rumoured the newlyweds would spend their break at James’ Scottish manor house, the couple has opted for a tropical island resort, away from prying eyes.

The eco-friendly resort is called The Brando which is located on the island of Tetiaroa, located in French Polynesia. The private island is a favourite with celebrities, and previously hosted Michelle and Barack Obama earlier this year for their post-presidency holiday.
According to the resort’s website, a one-bedroom villa for two people will set you back a minimum of $5000 per night. Ouch.
For something more spacious, a three-bedroom villa costs about $14,000 per night – thankfully that price includes breakfast!
The resort is called The Brando because it was named after Hollywood heavyweight Marlon Brando, who purchased the island in the ’60s after falling in love with it during the filming of his 1962 flick Mutiny on the Bounty.
Sadly Marlon passed away in 2004, before he saw his dream built. The resort didn’t open until a decade later in late 2014.
Since opening, it has become a celebrity hot spot for stars looking to get away from city life and enjoy a exotic location. After all, you need to take a private plane to get there!
Leonardo DiCaprio and Barbra Streisand are even reportedly previous guests.
The island resort is environmentally conscious, making use of seawater air-conditioning, solar electricity and generators running on coconut oil.

She may have just celebrated her third wedding anniversary to third hubby **Kanye West((, but her marriage to basketball star Kris certainly didn’t go as well.
Speaking on the chat show, the beauty admitted to feeling pressure to tie the knot because of her age.
“I just thought, ‘Holy s—-, I’m 30 years old, I better get this together. I better get married,” Kim revealed to Andy Cohen about why she got hitched.
“I think a lot of girls do go through that where they freak out thinking they’re getting old and have to figure it out, all their friends are having kids. It was more of that situation.”
As for filing for divorce after just 72 days of marriage? “I knew, like, [from the] honeymoon it wasn’t going to work out,” Kim confessed.

People are still exceptionally intrigued by Princess Diana, two decades since her passing.
The beloved mother of Prince William, now 35 and Prince Harry, now 32, tragically died in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997.
Details surrounding the days that followed will be shared in an upcoming documentary, Diana: 7 Days That Shook The Windsors.
Princess Diana’s untimely passing was an unprecedented event for Buckingham Palace, who were sent spinning.
The royals, along with the government, managed to organise the national funeral within a week, taking place on September 6, 1997.
The committee was made up with members from Kensington, Buckingham and St James’ Palaces, representatives from Number 10, the police and the Spencer family, who orchestrated the entire event.
Just this week Prince William admitted that “it has taken 20 years to come to terms with his mum’s death”, while he and his brother mused that their mother’s passing “uniquely bonded” them – despite “not talking about it enough” over the years.
The TV special takes us back to the harrowing moments that followed the accident.
William and Harry, just 15 and 12 at the time, unknowingly slept in on the morning after tragedy.
At the time, the Princes were in Balmoral with Her Majesty, who wanted her grandsons to have a moment before their lives were changed forever.
Queen Elizabeth ordered all TVs and radios in her Balmoral residence to be moved or hidden, shielding the young boys from potentially hearing and seeing their mother’s final moments.
Prince Charles was initially banned by his mother from going to Paris with the Royal Flight private plane to retrieve Princess Diana’s body.
Upon hearing the news, it’s believed a young Prince Harry wanted to join his dad, but was ordered to stay at home.

Harry and William were in Balmoral at the time of the accident.
In 1997 Diana began a relationship with Dodi Fayed. The pair spent the week together before Diana’s death on Dodi’s father’s yacht sailing the Italian and French rivieras.
Charles was joined by his former wife’s butler at the time Paul Burrell and Colin Tebbutt, her chauffeur and security consultant.
Paul and Colin explained in the show that they were forced to create a makeshift morgue.
“I honestly thought entering that room and looking at her, ‘She is not really dead, it’s just a joke, a very silly joke and you can wake up’,” Paul recalled about the moment he saw Diana’s body.
While Colin reflected, “Everyone was in shock … I noticed that hair of the princess was moving, which was from fans I had put in the room, and just for that massive minuscule of a second I thought was she alive, which was a silly thing to think.”
“The Prince came up to me and thanked me for being there and asked if there were any members of the clergy there, and Paul went and got the two vicars, and the two vicars and sisters went into the room and the door was shut.”
Prince Charles flew to Paris following the tragic news.
He was joined by her butler, Paul Burrell.
The investigation also discusses the difficulties surrounding the young boys.
Anji Hunter, who was then-Prime Minister Tony Blair’s adviser, spoke of the issues about wanting the young Princes to walk behind Princess Diana’s coffin.
Explaining how Diana’s sons wanted to mourn in private and were reluctant to do so, she said, “I can remember and it sends a tingle up my back thinking about it.”
“We were talking and then, from the speakerphone on the table, came Prince Philip’s voice, and it was anguished. ‘These are the boys here, we are talking about these boys, they have lost their mum.’”

The Princes have been speaking out more on how her passing affected them.
In the end, the royal siblings changed their minds and joined their father Prince Charles, grandfather Prince Philip and uncle Charles Spencer, as they all walked behind her coffin.

And it seems daughter Kim shares the same sentiment. Speaking out in a recent interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 36-year-old addressed her mother’s rift with her step-sisters’ father, saying that the highly-anticipated memoir was “hurtful”.
“My heart breaks for my mum, you know, because I feel like she’s been through so much and [Caitlyn is] promoting this book and she’s saying all these things,” she said.
“I just don’t think it’s necessary and I just feel like it’s unfair.”
Elaborating, Kim went on: “I feel like it’s taken [Caitlyn] a really long time to be honest with herself, so I don’t expect her to be honest about my mum now.”

In a twist of the ages, Schapelle has struck back at gotcha journalism with her own HA! moment.

Mercedes posted the same video to her Instagram, sarcastically captioning it: “Doing what they do best … factual news reporting!!!”
Given the ridiculous lengths major networks are going to in hopes for a glimpse of the 39-year-old – the journalist harnessed to the back of a ute anyone? – the family has done a phenomenal job of giving them the slip.

A security expert told news.com.au that the intricate “repatriation operation” would have easily cost more than $40,000 – a big sum considering Schapelle isn’t allowed to profit from her crime with tell-all interviews.
Although it only has 12 posts so far, Schapelle’s Instagram already has a considerable focus on fighting through throngs of awaiting media and the lengths they’ll go to for a photo – like throwing themselves off a wall.
In just a couple of days, she’s acquired more than 171,000 followers – a number many bloggers would sell a kidney for.
Despite the backlash from the Where’s William campaign, who distanced themselves from Schapelle after she was photographed with the little boy’s picture on her handbag, she recently posted a photo of the offending accessory.
The comments on the picture praise Schapelle for shedding light on William’s disappearance in hope more coverage will lead to answers.
Her use of captions like “hashtagoiloncanvas” show she has some ways to go before she’s nailed the intricacies of the platform, but we’re sure she’ll master it when the fit tea and teeth whitening sponsorships come through.
Susan Sarandon was living her best life at the recent 2017 Cannes film festival. Not only did she look amazing in a green velvet gown, she topped off her killer look with some sunglasses that deserve their own moment in the spotlight.
The queen of telling it like it is, Susan has paved the way for women everywhere who are sick of society’s rules around women of a certain age, and she has the talk to go with it.
Susan, 70, recently came out as bisexual, revealing that after her split from long-time partner Tim Robbins her sexuality was “up for grabs”.
“Yeah, I’m open,” she told PrideSource. “My sexual orientation is up for grabs, I guess you could say.”

TIP 1: TONE IT DOWN
“As you get older, less is more. The things you could do when you’re 20, you better lose by the time you’re 70 or else they’re garish. You can’t get away with as much. That’s why I stay away from colored eyeshadow, unless it’s for a character.”
“Beauty products should enhance who you are, rather than making you into someone you don’t feel comfortable with. You find your own style. Don’t try to be someone else, not everything works,” Susan continues.
TIP 2: MAKE LIGHTING YOUR FRIEND
Bad lighting is also the enemy of youth, and as Susan said: “If you’re trying to age, bad lighting really helps,” so never be afraid to ask for good lighting.
This advice applies to everyone, not just in movies or on the red carpet. Next time you’re getting an adorable family photo taken, make sure there’s good light, and don’t settle for anything less.
“In being an actor, you’re so watched all the time. Your face is so big and the camera gets lower — the lighting can be bad so that even when you look good, you look bad,” Susan says.

TIP 3: BE YOUR BEST SELF
“Personally, I’m very drawn to a person who has kind eyes and seems awake, present, engaged, and curious. To me, that lightens up a face no matter what the features are. This idea of being bored and brittle and overly done-up to me is the least interesting way to go. It doesn’t appeal to me at all.”
But if it works for you, a good lipstick never goes astray.
“Beauty is about engagement and confidence. Whatever you do that makes you confident, whether it being going to the gym or running, you’ll look beautiful. And that can include making sure you have some mascara, a lip, or are staying hydrated.”
To sum it up, Susan advocates good lighting, staying true to your own look and some mascara and lipstick when needed. This is certainly something we can get on board with.
The highly anticipated fifth season of House Of Cards lands on Netflix today and according to Kevin Spacey, we’re in for a real treat.
“I think we’re scarier than ever before,” Kevin said on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
“There are people who watch the show, as an example, last year and thought, ‘Oh that’s crazy. That could never happen,’” Kevin adds. “And then suddenly 18 months later it’s like, ‘Oh, wait a second. That could actually happen.’ Or it is happening.”
The parallels between the plot lines of House Of Cards and the current state of politics in America are disturbing to say the least, and this season in no exception.
Appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Kevin made the point that the truth really is stranger than fiction.
“At some point between when we shot the season and before it dropped, three or four or five things that we have dealt with happened in the real world,” Kevin admitted. “We go, ‘OK, everyone’s going to assume we stole it from the headlines,’ but in fact, we did it first.”
Kevin’s co-star Robin Wright, who plays his wife Claire Underwood, recently joked to Variety at the Cannes Film Festival that: “Trump has stolen all of our ideas for season six”.
This season will be the first without series creator Beau Willimon at the helm, with senior writers Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese stepping up as replacements.
As far as storylines, with an election looming we can expect to see plenty of fear-mongering from Frank as part of his new plan to “work with fear”.
When it comes to Frank and Claire’s relationship, who knows what will unfold. Claire came close to betraying Frank in last season; will she be tempted again this time around?
