With his cheeky nature, angelic smile and even funnier scowl, it’s little wonder his father Prince William is besotted by his boy.

“He’s a little bit of a rascal; I’ll put it that way. He either reminds me of my brother [Prince Harry] or me when I was younger, I’m not sure,” the Duke of Cambridge muses of his first-born son.

“He’s a little fighter – he wriggles around quite a lot and he doesn’t want to go to sleep that much,” he adds.

And while their family is now expanding after the arrival of Princess Charlotte, there’s no bond quite like that between a father and son.

The Trooping of the Colour 2015 will forever be known as the day young Prince George stole the show! Even Queen Elizabeth doesn’t look too impressed about being upstaged.

William places a loving kiss on George as they head into St Mary’s hospital, London to introduce the young Prince to his new sister, Princess Charlotte.

Try as he might, the Duke of Cambridge just can’t get George excited about polo!

“He’s a little fighter – he wriggles around quite a lot and he doesn’t want to go to sleep that much,” William says of his active bub.

“He’s a little bit of a rascal; I’ll put it that way. He either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger, I’m not sure,” William muses.

Wills, Kate and George share a laugh after the little Prince is gifted an enormous wombat from the Governor-General of Australia, Sir Peter Cosgrove at Sydney’s Admiralty House in April 2014.

“I’d love to go to the odd match with him in the future. I’ll have to pass that by the missus, see how I can get away with it,” William says of one day going to the soccer with his son.

He’s well known for his adorable surly pout, but Wills knows how to make George crack a smile. The family share a giggle at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo during their tour Down Under.

The look of love is easy to see on both William and Kate’s face whenever they spend time with their child.

The wave that stopped the world! In matching blue ensembles, William escorts George into the hospital to meet new sister Charlotte.

William beams with pride at the George’s christening in the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace, London, in October 2013.
