The birthday boy is well and truly letting his hair down.
While the Queen is hosting a rather formal dinner with royal dignitaries for her son's 70th on Wednesday, Prince Charles has still found time to party with pop royalty.
ITV hosted a concert named We Are Most Amused and Amazed to celebrate the royal granddad's milestone birthday earlier in November, and it wasn't short of A-list guests.
The Prince of Wales came with wife Duchess Camilla by his side, which might have been a lucky feat given the Prince was surrounded by prominent female pop stars as soon as he entered the jam-packed event held at London Palladium.
Among the star-studded guests were prominent singers Kylie Minogue and Cheryl, who were quick to greet the birthday boy as the event unfolded.
The famous females are no strangers to the future King of England. Kylie has met Prince Charles several times throughout her colourful career, while Cheryl has worked with Charles through charitable organisation the Princes' Trust over the years.
Both singers, who wore stunning floor-length dresses for the special occassion are ambassadors for the trust.
The Prince of Wales was also greeted enthusiastically by British comedians Rowan Atkinson and Bill Bailey during the lively event.
Always quick to the mark, Atkinson gently made fun of the Princes' preference for organic foods, telling him: "You thought you were doing such good work. Would you like to come down next to the other organic farmers?"
Charles was also treated to a performance by puppets Sooty and Sweep during the event, both of whom were the cause of a few chuckles.
Charles attempted to peer into the box below the two puppets, but Downtown Abbey star Jim Carter who was standing nearby, was quick to tell him he couldn't give away any secrets!
The lavish event ended with a performance by the Kingdom Choir, who also performed at Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's wedding back in May.
Prince Charles' birthday celebrations will kick on today as the Queen hosts a reception at Buckingham Palace. The event will be attended by the British royal family and other European royal dignitaries including Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik.
To the delight of royal fans worldwide, a selection of never-before seen images were also released to mark the Princes' milestone birthday.
The official portraits show the royal family in a truly candid light, with Charles and his wife Camilla sitting on a bench with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Kate, holding young Prince Louis, William, Harry and Meghan all stand behind.
One image shows the family looking poised, while the other shows a beautifully candid moment as they all share a laugh together. See all the adorable images here.
With parties, formal dinners and pictures galore, there's no denying Charles is celebrating his big birthday in style!
