We’re coming down to the pointy end of The Bachelorette and let’s be honest, the goss is getting juicy!

At this point, any morsel of detail we can get about the final four is worth hearing about – and Ryan Anderson’s sleeping arrangements are no exception.

Every year, contestants on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette sleep in bunk beds, often with more than ten contestants in a room at any given time.

But in an interview after his elimination on Wednesday, silent assassin Alex McKay revealed that front-runner Ryan, who was “different compared to all the other lads”, chose not to partake.

“He actually used to sleep on the couch in the lounge room by himself rather than in the rooms with us,” Alex admitted.

“I think he would only get like two or three hours of sleep a night. I think he would sometimes get up at like three or four AM, and we would just hear the weights clanging or the air bike going down in the gym and you would just be like, ‘Ryan, go to bed mate’.”

The 26-year-old also revealed that the “dog-man” kept to himself when the cameras stopped rolling.

In fact, Ryan would even “stay out of all the lad’s banter” and “just ran his own race”.

“He was the last person sort of in that top 10 and top six that I trusted the most,” Alex revealed.

“He was definitely the outsider where I didn’t really get to know anything about him at all.”

On Thursday’s episode, it looks like things are at breaking point between resident angel-face Carlin Sterritt and Angie – but unlike with Ryan, Alex believes he is “genuine” and there is absolutely nothing to worry about.

“I spent a lot of time with Carlin in the mansion and if I had a sister I would definitely let Carlin date her, I speak of him very highly,” he said.

Even though it seemed as though Alex didn’t utter a single word, he would have loved for fans to see more of who he really was.

“There’s definitely heaps more to me,” he said.

“I wish you guys did get to see who I am as a person because yeah, a couple of chats I did have with Angie actually did get quite emotional and deep, which I know you guys probably would of loved seeing.

“Unfortunately I lost my dad coming up to three years so Angie asked quite a few deep questions about my relationship with my dad which yeah brought a few tears to both Angie and I. It was very emotional at the time but unfortunately you guys didn’t get to see that.”

There was much more to Alex than we got to see.

So, who does the smiling assassin from the Goldie think will walk away with our Bachelorette?

“I’m hoping Timm wins,” he revealed.

“He’s obviously a lovable character and he’s so funny and I got along with him really well, so I’ll be stoked if Timm comes away with Angie’s heart.”

“Living with him is like living with a puppy dog,” he added. “I think because Angie’s in love with dogs she probably would be able to handle it.”
