It has only been a few months since Farmer Wants A Wife 2023 ended and Brad and Clare confessed their love for each other, but now the couple have taken it one step further after announcing their pregnancy.
While speaking with our sister site New Idea, the couple confessed the happy news that they were expecting their first child together.
The bub is due in December.
(Image: Instagram)“We didn’t think it would happen as quick as it did,” Brad said.
After settling to the crop and cattle farm rather quickly, it seems the loved-up couple were eager to grow their farming family! In a former chat with New Idea, Brad expressed: “We’re on the same page and just happy doing life together.”
Clare, now in her second trimester, shared she has experienced a “pretty healthy” pregnancy – aside from the morning sickness which onset early on and minor tiredness.
The mum-to-be also shared a new photo to Instagram of her blossoming baby bump, writing “All of a sudden, we have a serious bump happening over here 🥰.”

(Image: Instagram)The little FWAW bub is due in December 2023 and Clare’s parents have already gone all out for their first grandchild.
“They are so excited,” Clare said. “Brad’s parents just welcomed a new granddaughter the other day, so it’ll be nice for our baby to have a little cousin close in age.”
The couple also shared the happy news to Instagram, sharing a cute photo of themselves with a pair of baby shoes.
“We’re so excited to meet our newest little farm hand! Baby Jones due December 🥰,” wrote Clare.
Members of the Farmer 2023 family also shared their congratulations, with Farmer Brenton commenting, “Congrats guys, can’t wait 🙉.”
“Congratulations guys this is beautiful!! ❤️,” wrote Farmer Brenton’s Rachel.
Farmer Wants A Wife host Samantha Armytage also expressed her congratulations to the couple, posting a sweet photo of Brad and Clare to her Instagram story.
“Huge congratulations to Farmer Brad and Clare – another Farmer Wants A Wife baby to add to the brood! Very happy news, wow what a season!!,” wrote Armytage.
We can’t wait for bubs arrival!
(Image: Instagram)While we – and every other FWAW fan – are thrilled to know more about the bub including its gender, the love birds are waiting “the old-fashioned way” in which Brad was persuaded to do.
And as for the bubs name, the couple have signed up for Kinder which helps expecting parents decide a name.
“It’s like Tinder for names,” explained Clare.
“You go on there and swipe the names you like. If it’s the same one that your partner has picked, it will say it’s a match,” added Brad.
But as Brad pointed out to New Idea: “We’ve still got a bit of time.”
