After years of entertaining children, it should come as no surprise that Red Wiggle Simon Pryce is a natural when it comes to being a dad.
The 49-year-old operatic singer and his fitness instructor wife Lauren Hannaford welcomed their first child together - a baby boy called Asher William Pryce - in January and have been loving every minute of parenthood.
"I am so overcome with emotion and overwhelming feelings of love that it's impossible to put in to words everything I am feeling right now. ❤️," Simon penned at the time.
"@lozhannaford and I are so fortunate, happy and blessed to have you in our lives. 🙏🏼 Welcome to the world ASHER WILLIAM PRYCE 💙In an instant, I can't imagine my life without you being here," the children's entertainer signed off his heartfelt post.
The couple were thrilled to have a boy, first revealing the gender to Now To Love last year where they told us: "We sort of always thought we would have a boy first. He's a very active little boy," Lauren said at the time.'
The pair, who married in 2017 after meeting on the set of a Wiggles tour, encountered a challenging journey to welcoming their new baby, with Lauren struggling to conceive initially.
They have since revealed it took Lauren two years before she fell pregnant following the discovery of cysts on her ovaries. But she miraculously fell pregnant naturally, and it's clear the journey was absolutely worth it.
"We never put a lot of pressure on ourselves [while trying to fall pregnant]. But then there were complications, as soon as we got out of our head that it doesn't look like we can physically fall pregnant at the moment, we fell pregnant… And you hear that story so many times but that's literally what happened," Red Wiggle told Now To Love of their fertility journey.
