Farmer Wants A Wife star Hayley Love has welcomed her first child, a healthy baby girl.
She shared the joyful news on Instagram, revealing that her bundle of joy arrived on December 7 at 10:03 pm.
“DAISY 🌸Born on 7th December 2021 at 10:03pm weighing 3.6kgs. I can’t believe you are mine, my little best friend.” she penned alongside a stunning photo.
Hayley posted a snap of Daisy lying down in her cot while the other shot shows the bub lying on her mum’s chest.
Hayley fell pregnant after a brief relationship with fellow Farmer Wants A Wife star Will Dwyer after the show finished filming.
She was originally a contestant in Farmer Matt Trewin’s group, however Hayley was sent home before the finale.
After the show wrapped in December 2020, she struck up a romance with Will and fell pregnant, announcing the news in April 2021 after they split.
“On the 2nd April I left his house thinking, ‘I’m never coming back, I’m done’,” she said in a statement at the time.
“The next morning, I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. I was terrified to tell him [Will].”
Will kept relatively quiet on the pregnancy, sharing just one statement about the news on his Instagram page.
“My family are my world, and my parents were the perfect role models. When the time comes, I will be the best Dad I can be,” he wrote earlier this year.
“If this is in fact my child, I’ll be there whenever the child needs me. Even if as parents we can’t be a couple, our family will be filled with love for our child.”
Hayley shared several updates on Instagram throughout her pregnancy, writing in September that she was preparing for life as a “single mum”.
“28 weeks – going to have to get used to no makeup and dirty hair 🥱🤱🏼 #singlemum,” she captioned a photo of her growing belly.
She previously penned a sweet tribute to her unborn child in August, which she shared alongside photos of her cradling her stomach.
“26 weeks of growing you 💫 Starting life with you has been a difficult one but I do not regret it one bit at all,” Hayley said.
“I will love you unconditionally and I know you will love me too. Thank you for choosing me little bean 🥺”
Hayley shared several updates on Instagram throughout her pregnancy.

“39 weeks & hopefully the last bad iphone quality bump pic. [The] first week of maternity leave has finally got me enjoying my pregnancy.. should’ve finished up earlier!” she penned.
“I also had a check on Friday with my doctor & bubs has finally ‘dropped’ although not yet engaged (which could be any day now) I CANNOT WAIT TO MEET YOU 💗💙”
By the time December rolled around fans were waiting with bated breath for Hayley to announce the birth of her little one.
Hayley’s child isn’t the first baby to come out of The Farmer Wants A Wife, though the story of her birth may be one of the most dramatic.
More than 20 children have been born to couples who met through the show.
Most recently Sam Reitano welcomed a baby girl with his wife Katelen after he appeared on our TVs in 2020.
Farmer Sam found love after having his heart broken on the show, arriving at the finale with new love Kirsten.
But it was later revealed that Sam was engaged to a different woman – Katelen – by the time the finale aired.
Fortunately the couple found true love together and tied the knot in March 2020.
