Fans have been given a rare glimpse of Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s daughter India Rose as she joined her actress mum for a day out in England.

India, 10, showed off her affinity for animals in a series of photos Elsa shared to Instagram on Monday night, cuddling up to horses in the rare snaps.

One showed the youngster patting a horse gently on the nose while Elsa did the same in the background on what appeared to be a mother-daughter day out.

A second picture caught Elsa and India in a candid moment as they watched a game of polo played on a sunny pitch, India grinning from under a white cap.

Though photos of his and Elsa’s kids are rare, the new snaps of India prove a commonly held fan theory; she looks just like her dad!

One look at Elsa’s recent post shows that India has inherited her dad’s eyes and cheeky grin, though she has plenty of mum’s features too.

The 10-year-old also showed off her skills on horseback in a third photo, likely taken by Elsa, as she swung a polo mallet while riding a black horse with a white marking on its face.

Her mum then cuddled up for one last photo with to friends, India tucked under her arm as they all grinned at the camera.

“What a trip! So happy to be part of the @magicmillions family,” Elsa captioned the picture son Instagram.

“Was so great to enjoy the magic millions festival of British eventing at Gatcombe Park. Thanks to all.”

It was a very special trip for India, who has a passion for equestrian sports and even competes here in Australia.

She and Chris rarely share photos of their three children, including twin sons Sasha and Tristan, online and when they do they usually hide their faces.

“The exploitation is something I’m very wary of,” Chris told GQ. “We’ve been offered things like, ‘advertise such-and-such and have dinner with your family’… There’s no way.”

However, Elsa has been letting her young daughter step into the spotlight on Instagram more often lately, while dad Chris helped her make her acting debut in Thor: Love And Thunder.

Calling the filming process a “one-off, fun, family experience”, he said he doesn’t want his kids to become actors anytime soon.

“I don’t want them to now go and be child stars and actors, it was just a special sort of experience we all had, and I loved it,” he told reporters.
