A Thai woman is suing her ex-husband after he tried to break up with her in a text message a few weeks after winning nearly one million dollars in a lottery.
AP reports that Saowanee Thongwiset wants one third of the amount her husband won in the lottery.
The couple have an eight-month-old son.
While not legally married, the couple were living together when their numbers came up and they cashed the winnings together at a local bank.
A few days later the husband, Thammarong Keawsuanjik, sent his partner a text message, saying: “Let’s break up.”
