A man has allegedly kidnapped his ex-partner’s four children after a vicious fight broke out between himself and the children’s 26-year-old mother, Claudius Keller-Strasse.
The children, aged between 14 months and five years old, were forced into their mother’s vehicle before it was stolen by an unnamed male.
According to several reports, the 29-year-old male, who is thought to be unemployed, sped through the streets of Ramersdorf, running a red light and careering into a tree, before he ploughed into a group of pedestrians.
According to initial reports from German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung, at least two men have been injured in the bizarre incident which took place on Wednesday evening.
The Sun reports that the injured men are a 25-year-old student and another man, 30, who was standing next to him. They have both been seriously injured, suffering from traumatic brain injuries.
It has also been reported that the children involved in the incident have escaped unharmed.
Following the rampage, the suspect fled on foot and police have not yet been able to trace his whereabouts.
However, it is believed that the individual is known to police.
