Ivana Trump wants to be the ambassador for Czech Republic

The former model is reaching out to her ex-husband for a new job.

The newly elected President’s first wife, Ivana, is reaching out to America’s new top dog, and asking him to appoint her ambassador to the Czech Republic.

Ivana, 67, chatted to the New York Post about her former flame’s big win and what it means for her.

“I will suggest that I be ambassador for the Czech Republic.”

Ivana and Donald were married from 1977-1992

“[That] is where I’m from and my language and everybody knows me,” she said, explaining she was born in what was then known as Czechoslovakia before immigrating to Canada first and before settling in the United States.

“I’m quite known all around the world. Not only in America,” she said.

“I have written three books, and they were translated in 40 countries in 25 languages. I’m known by the name Ivana. I really did not need the name Trump.”

She also gave us a clue into what Donald will be like as a president.

“Donald is like a good French wine. He doesn’t like to be moved and traveled,” she said, adding her ex will probably keep his own plane rather than ride in Air Force One.

“The last 18 months, he traveled as much as he ever has in his life. Thank God he has his private plane, but still, it was brutal. It’s not going to get any better; it will get worse in the White House.”

While Ivana is clearly a skilled lady filled with ambition, she has no desire to be in Melania’s shoes.

Speaking about the new First Lady, she remarked, “I don’t have envy for Melania [because she has] to start to pack the clothes and everything!”

The new First Family.

While Donald is yet to comment on his ex-wife’s potentially joining his team, his daughter Ivanka, has confirmed what her role will be in the White House.

The 35-year-old, who Donald describes as “shining star of the Trump family”, has confirmed she will not join the Trump political administration.

Sitting down with 60 Minutes, Ivanka, who currently serves as the executive vice president of development and acquisitions at the Trump Organization and heads her own eponymous fashion brand, spoke candidly.

Ivanka sat down with her dad for his first interview since being elected.

“I’m going to be a daughter,” she said of how she will support her father as POTUS.

“But I’ve said throughout the campaign that I am very passionate about certain issues. And that I want to fight for them.”

“Wage equality, childcare. These are things that are very important to me. I’m very passionate about education. Really promoting more opportunities for women. So, you know there are a lot of things that I feel deeply, strongly about. But not in a formal administrative capacity.”

The apple of Donald’s eye, Ivanka, married Jared Kushner in 2009.
