Samantha Armytage finds her dream wedding venue

Rumours of a secret engagement between Samantha Armytage and her boyfriend Richard Lavender have been swirling for months. Now the Sunrise star has been spotted scouting out a wedding venue!

Last week 43-year-old Sam teased fans by sharing footage of her visiting Como House in Melbourne’s South Yarra.

The historic house and gardens – a popular wedding venue – has a special place in Sam’s heart because it was owned by her ancestors, who managed the estate for more than 70 years before they sold it to The National Trust.

Sharing a snap of the stunning historical home on Instagram along with a love heart emoji, Sam’s friends believe it could be the perfect place for her to wed.

Despite only going public with their romance recently, Sam and Bowral-based businessman Richard have already been spotted jewellery shopping.

Sam’s relationship with Richard has been going from strength to strength over the last few months.

In September, the Sunrise host was spotted at an intimate family lunch to celebrate Richard’s 60th birthday and seems to be building a strong relationship with his daughters Grace and Sasha.

Engagement rumours sparked when the couple were spotted in a high-end Sydney jewellery store.

Sam, who met Richard at close friend Skye Leckie’s 60th birthday party in April, has been keeping her relationship on the down low.

The couple have been seen together around town several times, but at the weekend prefer to stay in the Southern Highlands, where they both have homes.

“Richard likes to take her out shooting on his property,” our source previously revealed.
