The best pics of Bindi Irwin's growing baby bump

When Bindi Irwin announced her pregnancy to the world in August, hearts across Australia officially melted.

Sharing a sweet snap of herself and husband Chandler holding up a mini park rangers outfit, Bindi wrote: “Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021. Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you.”

And share it, she certainly has.

The 22-year-old has been keeping her fans and followers updated with a series of snaps throughout each of her pregnancy milestones.

And as her pregnancy really starts flying by, that bump of hers is finally on show for all to see.

It seems like Bindi has grown up on fast-forward before our eyes, yet she and her husband Chandler look as though they were born to be parents.

Speaking of the moment she told her husband that they were going to have a baby together, Bindi explained: “Discovering that I was going to become a mother will forever be a moment where time stood still. I took a test and ran into the kitchen where Chandler was making us tea. He didn’t hear me come in so I speechlessly watched him pouring the water into my most loved hedgehog mug.”

She continued: “I started crying tears of pure joy and told my sweetheart husband that my test was positive. We were beaming while our adorable puppy Piggy sat on our feet wondering what was going on.”

The rest, as they say, is history.

Bindi marked another pregnancy milestone in November – discovering the joys of aptly made maternity jeans: “Now that I know the comforts of maternity jeans, I don’t think I’ll ever be able go back. Any other mamas out there that can relate?” She penned to her followers.

“Baby bump is getting bigger! We’re getting close to the halfway point and I think our Australia Zoo animal family is excited to meet our daughter next year. Even Forest the giraffe is wondering what’s happening! 🧡 🦒” Bindi wrote.

“Dinner with the fam and baby bump,” Bindi wrote on Instagram. “There are no words to describe how much I love our baby girl.”

In October, Bindi posted the first proper pic of her bump, explaining: “My beautiful mum took this photo yesterday. Baby girl is doing great. Every time we get an ultrasound she’s incredibly energetic and always moving around. She’s now about the same size as a mountain pygmy-possum. Too cute!”

Gender reveal

The pair announced they were having a girl with yet another on-brand pic – comparing her size to a hatchling Aldabra tortoise, you could almost feel their excitement radiating through the pic.
