The recipe for a Milo Martini (AKA Malted Alexander) and the recipe for a Malted Bourbon Milo Milkshake are scarily simple.
We say scary because, well... do we need to explain? The phrase hook it to our veins, comes to mind.
These are the latest drinks to take Australia by storm, just imagine a big alcoholic Milo Milkshake and you'll understand why.
The sensational Charlie Ainsbury, twice winner of Australian Bartender of the Year and Spirit Ambassador at Dan Murphy's has created these recipes and generously shared them with Now to Love.

How to make a Milo Martini (Malted Alexander)

• 30ml Cognac
• 30ml Cream
• 20ml Crème de Cacao
• 1tsp Milo
Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with nutmeg and a sprinkle of Milo.
One word: Delicious. (Getty)

How to make a Malted Bourbon Milo Milkshake:

• 90ml Full Cream Milk
• 30ml Bourbon
• 2tsp Milo
• 1 big scoop of quality vanilla
• Ice Cream
• 1 cup crushed ice
• Sugar to taste
Blend all the ingredients and pour into a frozen highball glass.
Garnish with a dusting of Milo and fresh nutmeg
