Since the beginning of her second pregnancy, Kim Kardashian has based her maternity style around three things: neutrals, tight fabric and figure-hugging silhouettes – and with a body like Kim’s, why wouldn’t you?
But Kim’s latest outfit has got us very confused.
The mum-of-one stepped out on Tuesday to attend the Vogue Fashion Fund Show with hubby Kanye West, and her outfit of the day had us scratching our heads.
Wearing a sheer black shirt (as normal), a heavy coat (as normal) and a tight pencil (as normal), the reality star had all the components for a regular Kim K sartorial choice, but something was missing.
Her baby bump!
Kim, who is eight months pregnant, confused crowds when the shiny fabric of her skirt made her baby bump look practically non-existent.
The Altuzarra skirt, which is adapted from a dress from their Fall collection, caught the light in a way that turned her usually burgeoning bump into a flat tummy.
And we’re not the only ones who have done a double take.
“That baby bump looks really, really, really strange!” commented one fan.
Whilst we know it’s just a trick of the light and not a disappearing act, and that, if you look at it long enough, the bump does re-materialise, but Kim’s strange skirt still has us asking: please explain?
