Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has reminded us all once again that she is the master of casual chic.

The royal style icon donned not just one but two eye-catching outfits during a royal outing in Cumbria, northwest England on Tuesday to visit the Windermere Adventure Training Centre.

Whilst she arrived in black skinny jeans, lace-up combat boots and a trendy puffer jacket to meet with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, the duchess swapped her outdoorsy ensemble for a tailored look in one easy move.

Her casual outfit was perfect for the visit, which saw her strap on a helmet and join the cadets for a spot of mountain biking and climbing.

The royal looked totally at ease as she got hands-on with the activities, laughing with the young cadets and even making abseiling look elegant.

But Catherine’s day wasn’t over yet and she performed a quick outfit change before moving on to a second engagement.

Rather than completely changing her ensemble, the duchess opted to simply swap out her puffer jacket for a chic tailored blazer that took her outfit from outdoorsy to smart casual in the blink of an eye.

The Duchess of Cambridge went on to meet with several Holocaust survivors who settled in the Lake District after the horrors of World War II.

Her plaid belted blazer from British brand Really Wild was perfect for the outing, as it was understated while still looking refined.

This isn’t the first time Catherine has undergone a wardrobe change between engagements, but it does show how resourceful the royal can be with her style.

Swapping out just one piece completely changed her look and serves as a reminder of the royal’s habit of recycling outfits.

The duchess had an Alexander McQueen gown altered so she could rewear it in 2019.

She’s been known to rewear coats, dresses, shoes and everything in-between on countless occasions, even having some pieces tailored to create a chic new look.
