It’s time for the hard-working RFDS team to finally let their hair down for a night of laughs this week, but it soon turns into a nightmare when lives are put on the line and underlying tensions simmer.

The episode starts as flight nurse Pete (Stephen Peacocke) and ex-girlfriend, Dr Eliza (Emma Hamilton) suddenly find themselves transporting the waylaid Dolly Hardon (Trevor Ashley) to her charity drag show extravaganza.

But a diversion throws the trio off course.

With time running out, it seems as though Dolly won’t be able to host the big event. Now, it’s all up to Matty (Jack Scott) to step up to the plate. Dressed up as Miley High, the nurse prepares to take over the hosting duties. Will he take the stage or chicken out?

Meanwhile, Taylor (Sofia Nolan) throws caution to the wind as she parties on with the troubled Cameron (Jack Kenny), who she’s harbouring feelings for. They’re soon joined by both Johnny (Alex Champion De Crespigny) and Taylor’s friend Marla (Adelaide Darvall).

The night quickly spirals out of control.

The night quickly spirals out of control for the group of friends, when it becomes clear that some dodgy MDMA is doing the rounds. Could this night of fun prove fatal for someone?

Arriving just in time, Pete gathers the crew and they get to work treating everyone they can. As tensions rise, Pete blames Cameron for the drugs, but his accusations could not only risk his relationship with niece, Taylor, but also his job.

And that’s already up in the air thanks to the investigation into the White Cliffs incident – which resulted in a patient losing their ability to speak – earlier in the season.

Sofia tells TV WEEK that playing the role of Taylor has been an empowering experience and that she’s continuing to “grow” as a character.

“I feel a deep sense of empowerment with telling her story because she’s an extremely strong woman and the fact that she can carry herself confidently and diligently in her work and personal life is very inspiring to me,” she shares.

“I think she’s the image of bad-ass, you know? I think that she’s grown so much this season and you can really see it and feel it.”
