Hayden and Sara have taken out the title of The Block winners for 2018!
The couple from New South Wales sold their apartment in The Gatwick for an impressive $3.01 million, scoring $545,000 in cash above their reserve, and an extra $100,000 in winner’s prize-money.
Not only did the pair deliver an impressive auction day result, they also announced some happy family news with viewers: they’re expecting a baby boy!
Fans on social media were overjoyed for Hayden and Sara, and took to Twitter to share their excitement for the couple.
Fortunately, Hayden and Sara weren’t the only ones to rake in the big bucks in the finale.
All of the teams made well over the reserve price for their apartments, with Jess and Norm rounding out the list with the lowest profit of $209,000 (still pretty incredible, we’d say!).
